Phil Gould !!

I saw Phil at the Zildjian Artist Party here in the UK some weeks ago. He didn't look like the same Phil Gould he did years ago, but I assume he's still kind of playing or he wouldn't have been there?

Any news on why he stepped out of the drumming world? Why did he hang up his stick bag?

Hi Guys,

I'm listenning one of my L42's favorite track, and I was thinking that I had to let this song at HOD.

The bass line is awesome, the famous Phil's hi-hat work is incredible, he plays funky, groovy, tasty and put some great fill here and there, really great.

Excellent that you should mention Staring at the Sun,Gary! One of my favorite drum tracks of all time is "Over There." Simply perfection,to me. I encourage everyone to give it a listen...
I agree that Phil encompassed something special,but I just found an intensity in Gary's approach that I connected with.
